Who we are
Blossom Africa Trust through it's outreach arm Appointed, Anointed & Accomplished Woman, is a faith-based non-profit organization based in Malawi, Africa. We are touching the lives of women of all ages, races, and social background.
We are called to empower women through teaching of Bible principles, mentorship, life-planning knowledge exhortation, conferences, seminars, counseling, fellowship, skills training and life planning and empowerment knowledge.
Since 2006, our vision is to help equip women to enter their full purpose and destiny of God for their lives. We hold life-planning seminars in secondary and tertiary institutions and other places as well as skills training and mentorship programs. Our focus is the central and southern regions of Malawi , although we have done a lot of work in the north and other regions. This is in addition to running online trainings and programs online that have increased our reach to other African countries.
Life-planning Seminars & Mentoring
We organize Life-planning Seminars for young women in secondary schools and other places where we teach the goal setting skills and how to make a life plan. This is important in Africa because many young women do not have role models and so end up making poor life choices.
Our programs helps deal with foundational issues that impede vision. Our seminars are based on our Christian based curriculum which has impacted many young women since 2006, many of them leaders in the society.
Life-planning seminars feed into mentoring programs where young women go through an 8 week course and further mentoring where needed. Many of the young women are part of our volunteer team, therefore building their leadership skills.
Our programs also have older women as volunteers who are making a difference in young people's lives.
Our organization also holds virtual programs and uses social media for mobilization and events. This has allowed us to reach people from other nations across Africa.
Skills Training
We hold trainings in different areas to empower women economically and in other areas.
We train women in how to run businesses as well as actual training in skills such as soap-making, baking, tailoring and other skills. We have conducted trainings in villages as well as among displaced women at Dzaleka Refugee Camp in Dowa, Malawi.
We are scheduled to conduct training at Kachere Women's Prison in Malawi.
We also conduct virtual trainings and workshops in leadership, business and finance and other topics. This is done using a simple format on WhatsApp, which is very accessible in Africa. It has also allowed us to impact people from other nations.
Relief Work
Blossom Africa Trust is committed to touching lives through relief work among the disadvantaged. Through the help of our partners we deal with individual cases but also make donations to orphanages, prisons and other places. We recently donated items to Kachere Women's Prison in Lilongwe, Malawi. Your financial support enables us to help people in need.
